Invitation to an information session on the draft revision of the Faculty Evaluation Scoring Form and the Scoring Principles for the 21st Faculty Evaluation

Dear Faculty Members:


I.  The faculty evaluation at I-Shou University has been conducted for nineteen cycles. In accordance with the University's policies, various administrative units have timely adjusted the Faculty Evaluation Scoring Form and the Scoring Principles to promote the linkage between relevant operations and the faculty evaluation system.

II. In addition to revision suggestions from various administrative units, this draft revision also incorporates opinions from faculty members collected from February 2 to March 4, 2026. The Office of Research and Development forwarded these faculty opinions to the relevant administrative units for reference and adjustment. The briefing presentation for the draft revision has been uploaded to the Faculty Evaluation Zone on the Office of Research and Development website. Please feel free to refer to it.

III. To help faculty members understand the draft revisions to the faculty evaluation system as well as the relevant regulations and rules, the Office of Research and Development has scheduled an information session on the draft revision of the Faculty Evaluation Scoring Form and the Scoring Principles (21st Faculty Evaluation, AY 2027) on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 1:30 P.M. in Room 50301 on the 3nd Floor of the Teaching Building (with simultaneous video streaming). All faculty members are welcome to attend, and department chairs are required to participate. If any administrative head is unable to attend the information session, please appoint someone else to attend on their behalf. (Please note that no interpretation service will be provided for this information session, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.)
